Straight to the Heart
2002

The Heart (concrete object) the force of life, constant, pulsating, vital inevitably imbued with symbolism, traditions, myths loses its physical attributes, transforms into another
Heart (abstract concept).
This project is a visual unification of these two Hearts. Grabbing the symbolism of popular Spanish traditions, songs, clichés, I confront them in an attempt to rescue the essence, the matter that extracts us from the "virtual" world of our daily life to submerge us in the "real" world.
The real from the abstract, the unreal from the concrete.
Both in sync.
The center, the pulse, the Heart .
